How Modern Hygiene Cores Keep You 100% Dry

Have you ever wondered why traditional thick fluff-pulp pads leak under pressure while modern ultra-thin sanitary napkins hold heavy fluid without any surface re-wetting? The answer lies in advanced polymer chemistry—specifically Japanese Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP).

What is Japanese SAP Polymer Technology?

Unlike basic cotton or paper pulp that simply holds liquid like a sponge, Super Absorbent Polymers are cross-linked acrylic networks that absorb up to 500 times their weight in fluid. Upon contact, SAP instantly cross-links liquid into a solid, dry hydrogel matrix that cannot be squeezed out even under heavy body pressure.

Femora Comfort Automated High Speed SAP Converting Core Manufacturing Line

Inside Femora Comfort's Surat Cleanroom Plant: Automated high-speed multi-layer SAP core assembly lines.

Targeted Multi-Layer Core Distribution

In our Surat cleanroom facility, Femora Comfort engineers combine high-purity SAP with acquisition-distribution layers (ADL). Fluid is instantly pulled through the hypoallergenic topsheet, spread evenly across the core, and locked away permanently—ensuring zero backflow and absolute leak protection for heavy menstrual flow and overnight baby diapers.
